LOGO WORK AND ALBUM DESIGN
Solo musician and friend Dane Christiansen has been pursuing his musical career, and was in need of a branding and album artwork. The goal was to create a "metal band" logo that is sharp and rough around the edges. He chose a simple black and white logo, with the ability to be changed and used in any color palette for each album design.
Dane's album designs have always started with a photo he took while on a trip. We started the process by photo manipulating each album into their own creative and colorful aura. The goal was to pick a color palette for each thematic album. We worked together to make the end product close to what he was envisioning with his photo sample, making sure to take some creative liberties to make a focal point for each album artwork.
